This photo shows the facility at Trøgstad situated right at the peat moss harvest areas.

We are a small company situated in the southeast of Norway, about an hours drive from Oslo. During many years we have harvested and developed the natural resource that peat is.

From  the onset, peat was used for soil management in the agriculture.

Peat has two noticeable advantages when compared to other products for removing pollutants like liquids and chemicals. Firstly the liquid is drawn into the capillaries: it is absorbed into the material, and is not just staying on the surface.

For the second: Peat is naturally hydrofob. It will not absorb water, and also will not react to it.
