In 2007 a test was conducted at the SINTEF showing that Kallak absorbents removes significant amounts of all the types of oils used in the test. Kallak products absorbed as much, or more oils than any other peat-based products on the market, and considerably more (2-4 times) more than bark-based products commerciably available. Since 2007 Kallak has enhanced and developed our products on a number of properties.
